Swordfish Pointi Pencil Sharpener The Pointi is a brand-new addition to the extensive range of Swordfish pencil sharpeners. This budget-priced mechanical pencil sharpener, finished in Swordfish signature black and purple livery, will look good on any desk. But the Pointi does more than just look good. Inside the polished casing is a sophisticated helical-blade cutting system - similar to the system that is fitted to more costly professional pencil sharpeners. The biggest advantage of a helical cutting system, over the flat blade found in most pocket sharpeners, is the quality of the point. The Pointi really does live up to its name, producing a long, sharp point, time after time. The Pointi is not limited to use with graphite pencils. It will also produce an excellent point on coloured pencils difficult-to-sharpen specialist products such as water-colour and pastel pencils. Using the Pointi is simplicity itself. The sharpener comes complete with a desk clamp, so there is no need to hold it steady - it can be operated with one hand. In use, just pull the front part of the machine out to its fullest extent, where it will lock in place. Then, press the button that opens the jaws and inset a pencil. As you turn the crank-handle, the pencil will be automatically drawn into the sharpener until a perfect point has been produced, when sharpening will cease and the blade mechanism will be felt to free-wheeling. Perfect pencil points from a budget-priced mechanical sharpener - that's the Swordfish pointi! Features Robust plastic construction High capacity shavings tray Compact design Auto stop when sharp to prevent oversharpening For standard 8mm diameter pencils  Desk clamp included
