Olimex A10-OLINUXINO-LIME Single Board Computers - Olimex A10-OLINUXINO-LIME-4GB, The Olimex A10-Olinuxino-Lime-4GB single board computer is an extremely capable device in a very small footprint operating at a healthy 1GHz. Internally it has 512MB of DDR3 RAM, 2KB of EEPROM and a Mali 400 GPU, but it is its external connectivity that makes this board so special. The list of ports is extensive but the highlights are HDMI, SATA, Ethernet, 2 x USB plus 1 x USB-OTG, 160 GPIO pins, an LCD interface and a micro-SD card slot. As you would expect many of the GPIO pins have additional specialist functions with interfaces for 2 x cameras (CSIO), UARTS, SPI, 2-wire, IR, touch panel, I2S, PWM, audio and more. In all departments it compares favourably to the Raspberry Pi with a faster CPU, 3D acceleration and considerably more useable IO functionality. It can be made into a complete small footprint computer or kiosk computer with Linux/Android, a hard disk, keyboard and mouse and HD display. Alternatively it could be used as the controller in an embedded system for robotics, photography, web serving etc..This version has 4GB of NAND flash memory onboard which is factory loaded with Android 4.2.2 so the board is ready to use out of the box. Alternatively Debian Linux is available on SD card (73-0288). Another version of the board is available without the extra flash memory (73-0220).The board is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 United States License and as such it can be reproduced for commercial use.
