In small kitchens, it’s important to have appliances that do just what you want them to. If you’re looking for a small fridge, for example, you might not want an icebox or freezer compartment taking up valuable space. In that case, the L5010W Larder from Lec could be just what you’re looking for.The L5010W is an under counter fridge, so it’s designed to slot in under your worktops. That means it’s small on the outside, but there’s plenty of space for food inside. With 112 litres of usable capacity, you’ll be able to fit in all the meat, fish, fruit and vegetables you need. The A+ energy rating is even more impressive. Lec have worked out that this fridge could save you £24 a year compared to an equivalent 12 year old model, and there are savings to be had even if you’re replacing something newer. The L5010W is even recommended by the Energy Saving Trust.Inside, the fridge has everything you’d expect. Three safety glass shelves make cleaning the interior easier if something spills, and you can see through them to find things more easily. There’s also a salad crisper to help keep fruit and veg fresh and away from your meat and fish, plus a bottle shelf and two other sections in the door. The shelves are adjustable so you can store taller or shorter items at different times. On the outside, the L5010W is simple and smart. The door handles are recessed so you won’t have them sticking out and snagging on things, and the door itself can be hung from either side for greater convenience. The Lec brand has British roots, and has been manufacturing quality refrigeration products since 1942. Their appliances are known for affordability and style, with an added emphasis on energy efficiency. This larder fridge is no exception.
