AMD A10-7890K 4.3 GHz Socket FM2+ 4MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor AMD A10-7890K is an upcoming AMD Accelerated Processing Unit for socket FM2+ platform. It is rumored to replace the A10-7870K, which is a current AMD flagship APU. Partial specifications of the A10-7890K surfaced in August 2015, and later they were confirmed by CPU support listings, published by Biostar. According to those, the processor will utilize AMD Godavari design, and will have the same core stepping as the A10-7870K. The processor will be clocked at 4.1 GHz, which gives it a 200 MHz or up to 5% frequency advantage over its predecessor. The maximum Turbo Core and GPU frequencies are not known at this time. Similar to older A10-Series models, the A10-7890K will have 4 CPU cores, 4 MB of level 2 cache and it will lack L3 cache. The processor will fit into 95 Watt TDP. We do not have information on the release date of this model.
